Special presentation a four part from Andrew Sullivan: The politics of Homosexuality- Part one: Prohibition

Standard

What is prohibition? It came from the root word prohibit, prohibit; means to Ban. Banning homosexuality in general, until the 1960’s in America and many parts of Europe homosexual people aren’t allowed there liberty and freedom. Today in many parts of the world people are being jailed or killed for being the way they are.

The bible had spoken of this, very clear in the book of Leviticus and Romans that homosexual acts aren’t natural. In Leviticus 20:13, 20:13 “If a man also lies with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them In Romans 1:26-27: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. I will never argue with the bible.

Here is the thing the bible in the Leviticus said that you can’t mix linen but so many people mix linen. So people must not that, the point is not to shame the bible but to say that the bible is not as reliable,

Andrew Sullivan is an openly gay practicing catholic.
